GROUP WEEKS

The weeks assigned for groups and institutions are:

weeks 18–24 (2 may – 16 june 2022)
weeks 35–38 (29 August – 22 September 2022)

Arrival Monday – departure Thursday (extension possible).
Naturally, you are also welcome at other times.

Group events

Use our spacious and well-designed communal building with its good accessible facilities as your holiday’s focal point. Whether you want to eat meals together or join in other group activities, we’re on hand with good ideas and practical help.

Accessible outdoor areas

Our holiday chalets have good accessible facilities, and the designers have factored accessibility into all solutions – both indoors and out. Your residents’ disabilities and daily living aids are no obstacle! The area from the parking space in front of the holiday chalet is paved up to and all around the unit. The holiday centre is located near woodland, and Djursland’s best bathing beach is accessible to people with disabilities. A ramp from the bathing jetty means everyone can get right down to the water’s edge and dip their toes in the Kattegat.

Indoor and outdoor activities

Designed with accessibility in mind, our holiday centre has loads of indoor and outdoor activities to offer – barbecue evenings, culinary crab fishing trips, canoeing, creative workshops and beach excursions – and we are happy to help put together a tailored, accessible programme that meets the precise needs of your residents or group.

The holiday chalets are situated in charming natural surroundings in Jutland with easy access to playgrounds, a bouncy pillow and outdoor games. You can also rent three-wheeled tandem bikes and ordinary bikes so you can explore the nature of this beautiful area on your own.

Holiday chalet with accessible layout

The designers of our holiday chalets have focused on smart solutions and accessibility, so your residents or group can have a holiday that gives you the freedom and energy to enjoy great experiences together. The holiday chalets include a dining table and kitchen counter, both with height-adjustable functions, plus a shower, basin and toilet. There is also ample space for daily living aids.

The holiday chalets have been thoroughly tested by people with various disabilities, your guarantee for an accessible holiday in a barrier-free house.

In group weeks, we organise communal dining sessions with entertainment for everyone.

Order home care from home

Do your residents need home help or home nursing care? If so, remember to contact your local authority no later than three weeks before your holiday starts so arrangements can be made with Norddjurs local authority.

Need support or daily living aids?

At Dronningens Ferieby, you’ll find exactly the support or aid your residents need to enjoy an accessible holiday at our holiday centre. Borrow or rent whatever you need – you can even arrange for home care for your residents during their stay at Dronningens Ferieby.
